Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-09

Sunshine Property Records is built for privacy. This policy explains what is and isn’t collected.

What we do NOT collect

The Site is a static website. There are no user accounts, and we do not ask you for personal information. The rental-scam address checker runs entirely in your browser and queries the county’s public API directly — your searches are not sent to, received by, or stored on our servers.

What may be collected automatically

Like any website, our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (e.g., IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. If we enable privacy-analytics or advertising, those services may set cookies or collect usage data under their own policies; where required, we will request your consent. We do not sell your personal information.

Third parties

The Site relies on: the relevant government open-data APIs (called by your browser for the live checker), our hosting/CDN provider, and — if enabled — an analytics and/or advertising provider. Each has its own privacy policy.

Your choices & requests

You can block cookies in your browser. To ask about, correct, or request removal of information, or to exercise privacy rights you may have under Florida or other applicable law, email contact@sunshinepropertyrecords.com. We do not maintain a database of correspondence: we use your message only to handle your request and then delete it. We keep nothing unless the law requires us to.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above will change accordingly.

Public records, provided as-is. This information is compiled from official government open-data feeds and may be incomplete, delayed, or contain errors. It describes a property’s code-enforcement and permit record — it is not a statement about any person, the current condition of a building, or its safety, and it must never be read as an accusation of wrongdoing. Always verify directly with the relevant city or county before relying on it. Coverage is limited to the jurisdictions listed on this site.
